Husband prime suspect in wife’s murder at family business in East Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A man is suspected of shooting dead his Wife at their family business in East Pattaya late on Sunday Night. Police were called to the location by workers who heard the sound of gunfire on the second floor of the furniture center on Highway 36 and saw the victim’s Husband run out and drive off at speed. Police Colonel Somnook, the Banglamung Police Chief arrived and oversaw the investigation and inspected the body of Khun Priyar aged 42. She was lying in a pool of blood, face-down on the marble floor in the master bedroom and it was determined she had been shot a total of seven times. The victim’s Husband, Khun Gaet aged 50 is prime suspect and an arrest warrant has already been issued.

Prime suspect in East Pattaya family murder hands himself in to Police

PATTAYA: -- The suspect and Husband of the woman shot seven times at her family home and business on Highway 36 has surrendered to Police. Khun Gaet aged 50 was accompanied by his lawyer and gave himself up at Banglamung Police Station on Monday evening. He was subsequently granted bail pending court proceedings as he was not considered at risk of leaving the country to avoid prosecution. Police reported that Khun Gaet claimed his wife, Khun Priyar aged 42 would constantly insult Khun Gaet’s Mother and on Sunday Night an argument over her behavior took place. He claims that Khun Priyar picked-up a 9mm handgun which was kept at the house and a struggle ensued,
