If you have the required documentation it's not usually a problem there, if there is a problem a good agent can usually sort it out for you. I used to go to Vientiane but always problems and hassles, even using an agent. Then I switched to Penang, started using a recommened agent, Mr Muthu, and the problems/hassles went away. Kl and Singapore does not require a WP3 for either a managing director or employee for a Non-B. WP3 is a letter of acceptance from the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (Alien Occupational Control Division, Department of Employment, Mit-Maitree Road, Dindaeng, Bangkok It is for those foreigners who wish to work in Thailand, their employer in Thailand should submit Form WP3 (Application for applying a work permit on behalf of alien) together with other related documents such as a certificate issued by the Department of Commercial Registration, documentary evidence of educational qualifications, etc. at the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. www.lawyer.th.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
