December 4, 201114 yr Which is the best way to get from Survanabhumi to Bahn Phe by Bus or MiniVan? Can you get there Direct from the Transportation Center or is it as easy to go to Victory monument then by Mini Bus? Any info would be appreciated.. Thank you.
December 4, 201114 yr A few weeks ago, we hired a minivan & driver with no reservation to take us from Suv to the Ban Phe area. 6 people with luggage, one way, 3k ThB, door to door service. No fuss, no muss.
December 5, 201114 yr 1.it seems the tipical TV response: tell asker to take taxi-hurry up-time is precious and omit to answer the Q-most likely out of ignorance or lazyness- or not even table to think of such lo-class alternatives as buses. 2.you can do both-but a simple look at a map would show that going to VicMon would mean double track the very same 25+ kms over the very same motorway back, and perhaps even detour into Swampy for some more pickups. 3. Buses/vans all the way to Ban Phe are rare-certainly from Swampy-but buses ending at Rayong a plenty-from where there are (no, not taxi's) ample and frequent lightblue big pickup songhthaews-and maybe, ages since I have been there, now also farang-styles minivans.
December 5, 201114 yr BTW- I know that TV likes to maintain an utmost large confused nr of forumparts, but there are also: travel in Thailand or Suvannaphumi airport forums both seem much more fit for this, as it barely touches BKK (Swampy is not in BKK-province)
December 5, 201114 yr There is a direct bus between Suv and Rayong, but it runs only twice a day. There is nothing direct to Ban Phe, so one would need to get to Rayong and then catch the local songthaew, which runs from early morning until just after 6 p.m. Otherwise, get into the city and there are buses from Ekamai running about every hour all day, and vans from Victory Monument the same schedule.
