simon43
In the UK, it's common to use cord-pull light switches in wet areas, such as bathrooms. I've used this type of switch before, but the actual cord pull grip is just a small piece of white plastic, and not very attractive. A nicer alternative is to either use a hardwood cord pull grip, or to make a customised one by threading attractive large glass beads onto the cord string. So, is there a shop in Phuket that sells a selection of glass beads in a choice of colours? Thanks - Simon
mikebike
Julipan has. Couple of shops in expo as well. Thinking there must be more, probably in the fabric district in Phuket Town.
simon43
And what/where is Julipan? Simon
mikebike
Julipan is a very large stationery shop about 500 meters towards Phuket town from the Chalong circle on Choa Fa East. My wife has gotten some of her "crafting" beads there.
simon43
OK thanks for the info. I'm based in north Phuket, so the shops down south are not familiar to me. I'll drive over and visit next week Simon
mikebike
If Phuket town is easier Expo indoor aircon market (couple of streets over and back from Robinson, across from Uptown restaurant) has nice stuff including small cheap (100 baht-ish) jade items. ozymandious
There is a shop on bypass road call silverado that sells designer glass beads in maybe more fancy/expensive than what you're looking for. It is located just before tire plus on the north bound road
