Region 2 Police raid South Pattaya Go-Go Bar

PATTAYA: -- Region 2 Police conducted a raid of a Walking Street go-go bar in the early hours of Monday and arrested underage workers, illegal immigrants and the bar manager. Officers from the Child and Women Protection Unit conducted a raid of the New Carousel Go-Go Bar located in Soi Diamond, just off Walking Street and detained three girls who were found to be under the age of 18. Two male doormen were found to be Cambodian nationals and although they possessed passports with a valid tourist visa, they were not permitted to work under Thai Labor Laws and were therefore detained. The manager of the venue, Khun Bugop aged 44 was determined to be responsible for these alleged offences and was subsequently arrested.
