Suspected Bag snatcher caught by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA: -- A suspected bag snatcher was arrested following a chase which culminated in a road accident in Jomtien. The alleged victim of the bag snatch is Khun Gitnapar aged 24, a student from the Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok, who was walking back to a rented apartment in Soi Khopia in South Pattaya when the suspect came up beside her on his red-plated motorbike and snatched her handbag which contained 800 Baht in cash, a mobile phone and personal documents. Police were informed and the suspect was tracked to the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien where he was hit by a car during a chase involving Police and Police Volunteers. Khun Nalit aged 30 was arrested and later explained he used to work as a debt collector for an illegal money lender but had been unemployed for some time
