I'm in Chonburi and will be relocating to the UK. I am looking for an agent/removal company that could package or supply packaging and shipping.

Mostly shipping personal items such as computers, folding bikes and other small items.

Recommendations really appreciated! :jap:

I just got a quote from them of over 130,000 Baht. I don't have that much stuff to take with me so I asked for a wooden crate or two. For this price I could send a car over in a 20ft container!

We used another company to ship our things. It was a 20ft. container and the sea freight alone from BKK to Felixstowe cost 95.000 bath for 15 cbm in the container and then came the packing 25.000 bath. The handling in England cost £ 2500 from Felixstowe to London. It´s not cheap to send household. We found our own company in England to handle it for us and we saved £ 1300. So the handling in England is the most expensive part.

I'm pretty sure that one of the ThaiVisa members has a shipping company in the Chonburi area (Raro ?). You could try PM'ing him.
