Eva Good Prices For Next Year

I intend to travel the same route in October next year, but would want to go business class. For the best deal, is it best to book so early, if even possible, or wait until, say 2 or 3 months prior to departure. Thanks for any advice.

if going to the UK why not check out Oman Air, or even Aeroflot, cheap prices.

A few years ago I think it was EVA did buy 1 get 1 free on Business class seats, but along time ago

How did you book this flight ?

I tried to get a price on a flight to the UK over Songkran in April for about 12 nights and nothing is coming up as available on the Eva Air website. It's been this way for a while now, no flights are showing up between Bangkok and London at all around Songkran.

I tried to book a flight to US for May and kept getting flights unavailable, contact EVA. I called Bangkok and they told me they would only book 3 months ahead because of price changes. I ask about the "book up to 365 days in advance" that the website quotes and she just ignored the question, and told me to check after the new year.

Eva Air air doing direct Economy for 600-650 Pounds depending on dates, and they are doing Premuim Economy for 899 , seems the same price what ever date you travel over Songkran

best look at another airline. Aeroflot are quite cheap to LHR, same as Egyptair

Out of interest I just checked EVA's web site and put a couple of dates in for april and was quoted 40,400 baht but no problems at all.

My posts have always been positive in respect to Eva Airways, so when I write this now, do not take it as bashing. The FF airline web forums all have some cautionary notes about EVA's current economic situation. Keep in mind that KingFisher at one time had the same public adulation as EVA. EVA's been trying to get into Star Alliance for some time and has been blocked and Star Alliance has ratcheted up the competition on the routes where EVA was at one time the best option. Now there is sort of price competition going on with Star Alliance carriers offering various seat sales in economy and business that are as good as if not better than EVA. Something has to give at EVA as it can not cut back anymore on its food, FF program, lounges or call service anymore that it has. IMO there has been a noticeable steady downgrading of service and quality onboard flights for the past 2 years, going from a high 4star airline to an almost a 3star airline. Keep your eyes on the FF websites.

I just booked EVA to Heathrow next june for 70,000 for two.

Booked on their own web site, but I believe you have to book before end of year for the cheaper prices.

HL :D

Add another 5000baht to that and that is the price I got quoted to LHR form BKK for 3 people via Oman Air!!!!

Well Beano..... I just tried your oman air and put in my dates for two people and it quoted 79,670 baht. And for paying 10,000 more than EVA you get the pleasure of an 18hour 30 minutes journey on the way over and a 16 hour and 15 minutes journey back....as compared to 12 hours with EVA. I know which airline I would rather go with mate.

On offer the flights to the UK are usually 27180, but that offer will run out, not sure on the next one, another airline to try is Aeroflot. I like a break to stretch my legs, direct is great if a good price I must admit.

I use itasoftware for prices, then direct with the airlines (I have noticed that Itasoftware gives ridiculous prices for EVA).

What's the best method of booking a ticket?, online or a travel agency. I have just being looking at flights Bangkok - London (LHR) on several booking agencies. In the past I have travelled down to Bangkok and booked face to face in a travel agency. Looking at flying in late Sep next year.

Second Q, - book now or wait a few months before?

Not been back to UK for sometime now, the riots put me off last year!!
