North Pattaya Beer Bar Owner accused of “pimping” underage girls

PATTAYA: -- In a joint operation involving the Tourist Police and Anti-Human Trafficking Division of the Royal Thai Police, the 30 year old owner of a North Pattaya Beer Bar was arrested in the early hours of Monday accused of providing underage girls to customers for the purposes of sex-for-money. Police conducted a raid of the Shada Beer Bar in Naklua following an undercover operation whereby a foreign operative was sent to the bar armed with marked bank notes, and was told by the owner, Khun Manop, that for a fee of 1,500 Baht he could arrange for a 17 year old girl to accompany him to his Hotel. The girl in question, along with the bar owner were taken to the Tourist Police Special Investigations Unit based in North Pattaya where Khun Manop pleaded ignorance, claiming he was unaware of the laws relating to solicitation of minors. He also said the girl was willing to go with customers and he therefore saw nothing wrong with it.

Sahdu bar Naklua i would say is giving quite a lot of information on where underage prostitution is available,, and i think really would have been better off kept as a bar in naklua. bit of a contradiction. the Specifics well they all seem to be well covered, guess it will be a busy place after the fuss dies down thanks to the article.
