Beetlejuice
Even if you are required to show ID, would this be a problem?
Semper
Even if you are required to show ID, would this be a problem? Well, as robblok said, if it contains something illegal, it might be a problem.
thequietman
when i was sellin stuff on ebay a long time back i was sending a lot of packages (legit). the PO did ask me on one occassion for id (i sent it registered) the reason was for insurance purposes if the packages got lost. i only had to show my passport the once though. my wife says they occasionally do spot checks incase the package is of a suspicious nature. after all you can put a bullshit return address if you want. so if its dodgey be careful. people assume that the postal system is laid back here but they are professional and they do notice things. happy new year everyone. be careful out there. NewlyMintedThai
You need ID for DHL / FedEx. Not for the post office.

Heng
Yeah, if it's something illegal, you can be sure that the postal employees will be fairly helpful to any authorities who come around asking questions.... "uh, yeah, we don't know his name, but he's the guy over there at counter 3."
