A Bit Of Assistance, Please.

hello. my name is dave. i am an american, 39 years old. i entered thailand without a visa, given 30 days at bangkok airport. i will go to phuket tomorrow on the night train. i would like to extend my stay in thailand by 6 days (thus, a 10 day extension). should i take care of this in bangkok, or can i do it at phuket immigration? many, many thanks for your assistance. i don't want to do the visa run, because then i would have to take a day from scuba diving!

You can get extension stay in thailand , at phuket. And your nationality is Amercan, it's very easy.

i did. and thanks for the service. i belong to boards like this the world over, and typically i am the one handing out info to others. it's nice to have someone (actually two, now that there is another post from we_zaa confirming the first by thaiflyer1) do the same for me. it is a small world, but it is big, too. ha ha ha.
