High End Shaving Supplies In Cm?

I'm trying to find some good quality shaving supplies here in Chiang Mai. Would love to find Merkur razors and blades and good quality shaving brushes. Anyone have any leads?

Well, good luck with that! Half the time you can't even find shaving gel - this week I was reduced to having to buy a can of that awful old foamy stuff.

Disposable 2-blade razors from Tesco (their own brand) 14 Baht 3-pack. I've used them for years and they are great.

But they are not the same as in Europe, the quality is worse, think they are fake here....

Body Shop shaving cream in wide squat round plastic container is not too bad.

Boots Pharmacy always have shaving gel when we go there...Blade 5 ,orange can,good value.

You can find double edge safety blades at beauty supplies shops. Gillette brand 5 for 20 baht, or dorco st-300, 5 for 10 baht or 100 for ~130 baht.

An actually quality razor to hold the blade you would have to get off Ebay.....but I've heard of one guy has a shop in town, no idea where or what brands are carried

Hello Genericnic and others who might be using a shaving cream/gel.

60 years ago my friend asked me why I needed to buy shaving cream. I told him "so that I could get a decent shave". He said " no matter what they claim it doesn't provide much more lubrication than lathering with a decent quality soap". I said "You must be kidding !" He said "why don't you try it ?" I did and I've never done anything else since. Works just fine for me.

And that, boys and girls is the end of this story !
