Approx Cost For A Live Out Nanny/Maid

Featured Replies

Hello,

Could someone please give me a ballpark figure as to how much I can expect to pay a live-out nanny to look after my 2 month old and keep our apartment clean (only 100 square metres). The hours would be approx 8:30 to 5:30, 5 days a week with the occcasional babysitting duties as an extra. We live on Sukhumvit Road.

Minimum English abilites would be preferable.

Many Thanks!!

Does anyone have any experience of hiring a live out nanny/maid?

Thanks.

i have had a live out nanny since my daughter was about 6 mos old.

She started at 7k p/m and now that my daughter is 5 makes 11.

She stays over nights when i need/want to go out, works 6 days per week and cleans the house, does laundry etc.

others mileage may vary, but she has been rewarded for her loyalty, flexibility and the obvious love she has for my daughter.

before i found her i had some horrific experiences with some very mercenary women who were not fit to walk a dog let alone care for a child.

her initial salary was determined by the factory job she gave up to come work with us. she was loosely related to the child's mother.
