Hey Guys!

I'm looking to work in Bkk not necessary as a teacher but would like to have some infos about teaching here!

Fisrt, if I'm going in academic jobs, it will be for french language because I'm not native english and can't pretend to be good enough to teach!

So about teaching French, is it easy to find a job and get a working permit if the person never teach and don't have diploma?

Normally, is there a training if a school accept you with these conditions?

If for a teacher job is impossible by the fact that I don't have the requirements, is there some posibilities to be a teacher assistant?

Informations about this will be appreciated!

Thanks!

Not a bad idea at Alliance Francais or apply in school. There are not many french teachers here. I used to learn at Alliance Francais as I was a kid and had to learn French 2 years in school, but we have only Thai Teachers teaching french, on higher level, mostly instructors graduated from France. Try to apply , not a bad idea for teaching French. Sorry I cant speak french anymore, but have to use German language :o instead.

This is also my opinion!

Only the ones who plan to go study in France or Switzerland have a reason to study french. The other ones are weirdos! Or maybe their english os already so perfect that they prefer to start learning a new language ?! ;-)

Have you thought about teaching in Laos? I think French languge is still popular there.

Even though the Lao people defeted the French and American military, their influence is still present throughout the country.

Visit Vientian, Laos and see what you think. It's right across the border from Nong Khai, Thailand. The train from Bangkok leaves every day for Nong Khai.
