Cambodians In Cm ?

Featured Replies

I am sure theres a few around but is there any community of Cambodians here ?? Restaurant or other place ??

Have a Cambodian living here, who doesnt yet speak Thai, and I think would appreciate being able to speak Khmer once in a while.

Most Thai will not be very happy once they learn that there's really a Cambodian community here!

She hasnt had too much negativity from Thais so far, I kinda wondered about that also...

Yes, the previous post was clearly rubbish. But you'd expect that, here.

I know of communities of people from Khmer speaking Thai provinces such as (parts of) Surin, but that's not exactly the same as Khmer spoken in Cambodia. Much closer than Central Thai though. :)

In the international program for monks at Wat Suan Dokh temple there are some Cambodian monks.

Nonsense. In places like Trat, Koh Chang and other areas around there, they are the work force in all the hotels, guest houses, restaurants, etc. They get along just fine with the Thais.

Well, they can always go suck lemons!

A lot of places around the world aren't keen on having Thai's in their community.

A lot of places around the world aren't keen on getting an extra helping of apostrophes. Or, apostrophe's, I suppose. :P
