Ugly Fonts At The Nation With Firefox!

Featured Replies

The Nation, nationmultimedia.com looks fine in Internet Explorer but ugly in Firefix/Mozilla.

Is there a way to change the ugly font globally in Firefox?

George, are you serious or did you ask so that everyone would take a look at that hideous flash presentation The Nation have put on their site? :D:o

In Firefox:

Go to Menu/ Tools/ Options/ General/ Fonts + Colours

I have the following set up:

Serif

Verdana Ref

Arial

Courier New

I think The Nation page once you get past the promo looks okay with that, see what you think.

Firefox released new version 1.50 you may download now :o

Look here: I am using WinXP Pro. The Nation site shows up with ugly fonts in Firefox 1.5 RC3, but OK in IE6. All other sites looks great in FireFox.

Screen shots here:

1. IE6/Maxthon screen shot (nice fonts)

2. Firefox screen shot (ugly fonts)

3. My Firefox Settings (Menu/ Tools/ Options/ General/ Fonts + Colours)

Bug or feature? :D

Under "View" "Character Encoding" Select "Western ISO-8859-1"

it looks like the css style sheet is not being rendered properly... notice the search box.
