Autopsies Of Deceased Red Shirt Victims Conducted

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Does this topic have any relation to a previous topic "DSI urges police to provide forensic proof" from 2011-09-17. At that time "Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung said yesterday that the Department of Special Investigation would ask the Metropolitan Police Bureau to conduct forensic tests on 13 victims killed in connection with the crackdown on last year's red-shirt protests."

http://www.thaivisa...._dsi%20japanese

This 'new' topic says the autopsies are conducted although the first sentence only mentions 'now conducting'.

Well done, appearently with the new government controversial issues are handled with lightning speed.

The core purpose of this particular thread is to discuss the medical analysis of the corpses of protestors from the 2010 troubles. The real interest here is why they are being re-analysed. Is it showboating by the new government? Were the original analyses incomplete, or conducted incorrectly? But you want to turn this thread into a semantics debate about terminology. Hmmmmmm......

And on the subject of the initials of the former poster to whom you refer, if you can find a post of mine which references those initials from the last week (or even the last month) I will Western Union you one million baht. Otherwise, admit that you are a liar and apologise.

OK, well if you consider that my correcting of a poster who made the nonsense claim that autopsies and post mortem exams were quite different things (and furthermore advised people who thought otherwise to take a course in pathology), to be an attempt by me to turn this thread into a semantics debate about terminology, then i consider your claim that you have not mentioned the letters SJ in the last month, to be an attempt by you to turn this thread into a splitting hairs squabble on the precise date that your well documented obsession with the aforementioned initials was in evidence.

So I can take that as an admission that you lied about my referring to the initials 'SJ' every week, then? And do you have any new info about why the examinations are being revisited, or are you just desperately trying to discredit Geriatric KId? At least he offered up some opinions on this thread subject.

I'll take that response as confirmation of your attempt to turn this thread into a splitting hairs squabble on the precise date that your well documented obsession with the aforementioned initials was last in evidence.

I don't have any new info, and i am not trying to desperately discredit Geriatric Kid. He made the claim that autopsies and post mortem exams were quite different, and he used this falsehood on which to build his argument that the medical investigation undertaken on the corpses at around the time of death, as compared to now, were also quite different. The premise of his argument was therefore flawed. Had he, and those who have come out to speak in his defence (like you), simply acknowledged that this was the case, the discussion would have long since moved on.

So you won't admit that you lied (even though you've been caught out lying)? And you have no info or opinion to add to the subject matter of this thread (unlike Geriatric Kid).

To your first point, and to repeat for the last time, i decline to get involved in your repeated attempts to turn this thread into a splitting hairs squabble on the precise date that your well documented obsession with the aforementioned initials was last in evidence. Continue that squabble by yourself.

To your second point, and to repeat, my opinion on the subject matter of this thread, is that autopsies and post mortem exams are both terms that can be used to describe exactly the same procedure.

Where is the lie?

How about setting an example? How about practising what you preach? How about going a week without mentioning the letters SJ?

It's a question/dare. You could have just answered "I haven't mentioned the letters SJ in the last month" and be done with it.

Hundreds of villagers in Nongbualampoo Province have been gathering to see what is believed to be human fossils dating back two thousand years.

I'll have to check RA's website to see if he's claiming that these are red shirts and that autopsies should be performed.

Do we have to go through this again. It was the police who started the rumour about the bodies found in the three temples may be those of red shirt protesters, not Amsterdam. I know it's a common MO but just because you repeat this claim it doesn't make it any more true.

In the meantime your contribution to the debate is off topic and not even mildly amusing.

In the mean time re-read this topic. Lots of BS, even some posts from you, even from me. I was late (and lucky), most stupid things were already posted.:

http://www.thaivisa....ing-red-shirts/

There are some webpages indicating a police investigation took place BEFORE the Pol.Gen in charge even ordered it. Robert A. may have twittered (tweeted?) on the 18th and 'retracted/corrected' on the 19th. It looks like some Internet pages may be missing, or maybe I just can't find them from my Thai IP address.

BTW as far as I remember the last official tally had about 54 'missing persons' from the March - May 2010 UDD led terrorismcriminal association. Anyone out there who knows the list of 'truly' missing persons ?

And you compound your lie still further. A few days ago you accused me of referring to 'SJ' every week. I asked you to find a post where I'd referred to those initials recently, but you couldn't because such a post didn't exist. So, now, after a subsequent series of exchanges on the matter, you are quoting one of my replies in these subsequent exchanges as an example of my having used the initials 'SJ' wacko.png . I had an aquaintance like you at school: He couldn't get his lies straight either.

Have you ever heard of a self-fulfilling prophecy? Still nothing to add to the conversation except boring, off-topic personal criticism?

No i did not. I asked whether it might be possible for you to go a week without mentioning the letters SJ. It was a challenge, and one i knew you would struggle with.

I asked you to find a post where I'd referred to those initials recently, but you couldn't because such a post didn't exist.

I couldn't find one because for one i couldn't be arsed to undertake such a pointless activity, and for two, i made no such categoric claim about your past posts, i made a challenge for your future ones.

GeriaticKid started the whole debate about autopsies and post mortem exams by claiming that they were quite different procedures, but when people made posts correcting this fallacy and showing why he was wrong, your complaint was not directed at GK for not only having started it but for not coming forward and putting an end to the matter by accepting his mistake, but at the people making the correction. Guess that suited your agenda.

It is NOT a crime to shoot criminals committing crimes.

sigh...

Yes it is if the use of force is disproportionate to the crime being committed.

You don't shoot people for protesting peacefully, and nobody was killed (by the police or the army) until the protest turned violent, or more accurately when it passed a certain threshold of violence with the events at the Victory Monument. After that it was street warfare and inevitably innocent people died in the chaos and crossfire.

In my opinion, the major burden of guilt rest with those who incited and enabled the violence.

How many more times do you need to be told that the above statement is incorrect and still you persist!

How many more times does it need to be confirmed that one of the UDD leaders (Arisman) called on supporters to bring a bottle to Bangkok to be filled there in case the 'forces we oppose' try to bring us down. He also listed the places which could be burned down with impunity. His fellow UDD leader Natthawut said something like "don't worry, it's on me, I'll take the blame".

Anyway the autopsy on some of the 91 casualties from the March - May 2010 terrorist activities criminal association has been done, or may have been done, or might have been done; depending on who you ask. One of these days Dept. PM Chalerm will surely tell us of the remarkable findings. Before that we may hear some nicely phrased halftruths from Robert A., he's good at that which is probably the reason that those who can afford him do so.

PS nice new signature. Are you trying to express an opinion or are you just subtly trying to suggest one of the previous Thai governments might have been led by a crazy person?

thaksin 2003

http://www.amnesty.o...90082003en.html

Human Rights Watch has branded ousted Thai prime minister “a human rights abuser of the worst kind”

Thaksin’s human rights violations.

Thaksin presided over extrajudicial killings during the notorious “war on drugs”. HRW says 2,500 people were killed during one three-month period at the start of 2003.

Thaksin told the Thai military to employ any means to suppress an insurgency in the south of Thailand.

Thaksin Suppressed the Thai media.

The Shinawatra government faced allegations of corruption, authoritarianism, treason, conflicts of interest, acting non-diplomatically, and muzzling of the press. Thaksin was accused of tax evasion, lèse majesté (insulting King Bhumibol), and selling assets of Thai companies to international investors. Independent bodies, including Amnesty International, criticized Thaksin's human rights record. Thaksin was also charged for concealing his wealth during his premiership.

I guess it just takes time for all these "allegations" to be fully investigated and substantiated........until then they would be.......er......"allegations" and crticisms.......forever regurgitated without action. Credit to the authorities for making an attempt to clear up the allegations and inuendo regarding the protest deaths.

All you did was highlight a challenge that i made and you promptly failed.

If highlighting lies is your hobby, look no further than your own posts. Plenty of material for you there. Here's one to start you off:

Yes, I remember posting a video of Abhisit caught out lying about the Rohingya debacle a while ago, and you immediately retorted with a video of Thaksin lying about a completely unrelated issue.

Putting a question mark at the end of a statement containing a lie doesn't soften the lie. For instance: "Are you still battering your girlfriend, TAWP?".
