Angthong Couple Claims to be Haunted by Ghost of Stranded Boy

Ever heard of ghosts getting caught on film? Well, a local of Angthong Province claims that she and her husband have been haunted by a ghost and she has photographic proof of her claim. 26 year old Watcharee Ummawat said a ghost of a boy has been calling out to her and her husband during the night, pleading for something to eat. Watcharee claims that her husband was the one who first heard the cries and since then, the couple has not been able to get much sleep. Days later, she claims, proof of the ghost came in the form of a photograph.

Watcharee said she took a couple of pictures of her one year old son on her mobile phone. Later that night, she showed the picture to her husband and son when her son asked who the child next to him was. Watcharee said she hadn't taken a hard look at the image until her son mentioned it. She then uploaded the image onto her computer and got a closer look.

She said a shadow of a boy with a ancient “juk” or tuft on top of his head could be seen on the picture.

Watcharee came to the conclusion that it must be the same boy who's been calling out to her and her husband at night.

Perfect candidates for a position in the current administration. Maybe they can be assistants to Mr. Happy Toilet or Nattawat.

Seriously though this kind of story is expected here as chidren are taught from birth ghosts are everywhere. My ex girlfriend would not pass a house where someone had died until they had the funeral. She would go ten miles out of the way if necessary, afraid she would see the ghost of the deceased. Of course she or everyone she knew had never seen one but no convincing her they did not exist.

Just as in the west children are told spirits do not exist
