Refurbish Laptop Battery?

Featured Replies

Do any of the local computer shops refurbish laptop batteries? The one in my netbook

is pretty much worthless, and I have had no luck finding a new one online'

There is a shop on the 2nd floor at the big computer centre near the night bazaar, an upgraded one for my Toshiba was around 3,000 baht, went from something like 2000mah to 4100mah in capacity.

I looked everywhere for one for our Acer notebook. Everyone wanted about 3K THB for the original. Found the same battery on eBay, it was at least 4100mah maybe more. Seller was in China. Cost the equivalent of 1,500 THB, free post, 1 year guarantee. Works great.

Try recalibration. Check internet for how to do it.

stick the old one in the freezer compartment of the fridge for a couple of days then thaw it out and recharge it...........may extend the life a while longer

i have done this with camera batteries

Pantip Plaza, 2nd Floor, west side near the middle of the building - a shop that features replacement and refurbished laptop batteries of pretty well all models - and can/will order in ones they don't have in stock. Have used them twice.over the years. Fair prices, great service.
