I flew in after a short trip to KL on 10 nov 2011.

THE CALENDAR SAYS I MUST DO MY 90 DAY on 8 Feb 2012.

I am in that area for a meeting on Fri 10 FEB.

IS IS OK TO BE 2-3 DAYS LATE?

WHAT TIME SHOULD I GET THERE?? (Chaeng Wattanan)

THX

I'd like to add that a few days late (I think 7 days is correct from what I read here) will be OK, as long as you apply in person. If you apply by mail, the report must be received by the date shown. (You can of course apply by mail now, send the form by EMS.)

If you are really too late, it is no problem but will cost you a fine. Last time (which is already a few years ago) the fine was THB 3,000.

14 days before or 7 days after the reporting date is your window of reporting.

This is changed from 7 day / 7 days a few years ago.

As said you will be fine and not be fined. And the fine is 2,000 baht for late reporting (but could go to 5,000 with attitude).

Purely for information:

My last 90 day reporting, I sent relevant docs to Pathumthani Imm at King Carlos Med Centre.

It was during the time of the flooding and to cut a long story short, Thailand postal care, to whom I communicated with, eventually delivered the EMS letter to Pathumthani Imm, Sam Khok.

The tear off slip was returned to me, although it turned out that I was approx 6 weeks late in reporting, no questions asked and no fine. I think obviously due to the flooding.

If you ever experience a problem with Thailand Post, the customer care part Thailand Postal Care gave me excellent service.

Sorry, last para should say, If you ever experience a problem with Thailand Post..........................

EDIT I've fixed it for you, but if you look lower right of your post you should see an 'Edit' button, it's active for 20 minutes after you post.

Agreed as per Thai Immigration website - However, Note 13 on the pinned section above (Maestro post) is still quoting an old Bangkok Immigration announcement referring to 7 days/7 days.

14 days prior or 7 days after as in Post 5 and post 9 are what I was told in decent English by the Thailand Immigration officer in the Pottery Village near Korat three weeks ago.

The pinned item will be amended when time but it is not a link so requires making up a PDF and entering into system but change does not effect fines or being late.

Here is the PDF file of the new rule about notification of staying longer than 90 days, to which I shall link in the pinned topic topic under "Useful Immigration Information & Visa Descriptions" --> "Laws, regulations, Police Orders, etc." so that it may be viewed even when the immigration website is down.

Where is sub-division 3 as mentioned in the PDF above? I did my last 90-day at Chaeng Wattana, but I would much prefer to go to Chamchuri. However, somebody told me that once you started the 90 dayer at CW, you are forever condemned to go there.
