Thai Officials Need To Wake Up And Admit The Truth

In the minds of many Thai politicians, assassinations are not a bad idea. They regularly use this method to get rid of enemies and competition. Why else would they want to downplay the latest incidents? It's just normal practice!

I agree with you that in Thai culture such actions aren't seen as extraordinary at all.

To be fair it must be annoying for the Thais to have the jews and muslims fighting in their back garden and ruining the neighbourhood.

To be fair to the Muslims, it must be annoying to have Thais claim sovereignty over your land, then occupy for over 100 years it under the threat of force, and deny your basic freedoms like using your own language or practicing your own religion and culture.

To be even fairer to Muslims, it must be equally as annoying having Thais hiding behind the skirt of Britain (as they have done for 150 years) and America (as they have done since WWII), while partaking in an illegal invasion of an Islamic country and the occupation of another.

Let's face it, Thailand was incredibly lucky that a bunch of buffoons botched the bombings up.

Chalerm in particular has been shown once again that his mouth rules his brain.

All the government is thinking about is the loss of revenue. A distant second comes the safety of tourists and international officials.

I don't think anyone on this forum seriously believes that the government is able to prevent terrorists with bombs doing pretty much what they want as they do in the south. As we can see with drugs, the borders are so porous almost anyone and anything can get through.

I find the bunch of Baffoons running this country a lot more scary than the Iranians/Lebanese running around making sub-standard bombs. Can we seriously believe that the Thai 'Intelligence Services' are any good at what they are supposed to be doing? Chances are they are too busy in illegal gambling dens, cock fighting, or swilling home made hooch when they should be doing something about homeland security. We all know how efficient the BIB are, and the current Government is, so how can we expect anything other than more attacks? Next time they will most probably get it right with the bombs because they will send people who are a lot smarter than the tosspots that turned up this time.

hehehe true maybe that's why they don't label it terrorism because they believe it to be a sound business practice.

This PTP government won't wake up to anything even when Thais are blown up. After that, they'll just excuse themselves by saying they've only been in government for a short time and them blame other people.

Idiots.

OP...."Thai intelligence officials were not to blame for any of this because the suspects had entered Thailand without weapons and had built their bombs in the country, he added."

These Iranian hired tosspots apparently had access to Semtex or C4 plastic explosive which is THE explosive of choice by most armies in the world.

Semtex or C4 is not for sale or available to the general populace for obvious reasons, which begs the question: Where did they obtain it in Thailand?

Possibly Thai intelligence officials might want to follow that plastique trail.

I anxiously await results of their sleuthing expertise....coffee1.gif
