Regarding the topic earlier posted re Hull Thai Consulate in the UK not issuing non imm o multiple entry Thai visas. I understand that this is not a Thai immigration law, but rather an arbitrary decision by that consulate. I have a 17 year old Thai daughter and have not been together with her Thai mother since she was 5 years old. However I remain friends with her and my Thai 'family'. I return to England every year to visit my mother, together with my daughter. I have never had a problem there. Although as I am returning home again soon I would like to know where I go to to register myself as the legal father, and what will be needed, just in case. My daughter was born in Bangkok and her mother has no problem with completing this process.

Also, as my daughter will be 18 this year, in November, I have to process her application for a British passport this year. I know I have left it rather late, but do you envisage any problems with her being granted a British passport. I think it should be OK, any other similar cases out there?

Thanxalot for any help or responses. Robin.
