Mother of two killed in early morning road crash close to Pattaya

PATTAYA:-- A Mother of 2 was killed in an early morning road accident in the Plu Ta Luang area, close to Pattaya, as she drove to a local market.

Police were called to the 181km marker on the Sukhumvit Road early on Tuesday Morning to investigate the crash involving a Silver Toyota Vios, driven by Khun Wilaiwan aged 26 and a motorbike driven by Khun Nam-oy aged 35, who was killed in the collision. Khun Wilaiwan claimed that she was driving at speed and failed to see the slow-moving motorbike and rear-ended the bike, throwing its driver onto the grass verge, who was killed instantly.

The family of the deceased woman soon arrived and confirmed she was on her way to the local market to purchase chickens which she would have sold later in the day on her mobile food cart.
