I probably know the answer to this already but a friend suggested I should visit this site and throw it out there.

There is an item for over 3000 Baht ,for sale from a chap in Bangkok. I'm interested in this item and he has sent on bank account details for me to send on the money.

NOW.....,

I have no account with Paypal nor anything like it so I was wondering is there another way for me to protect myself or am I left with taking the chance that it arrives and arrives in one piece.

I have a Thai bank account so can transfer the monies from one account to the other with conditions such as both parties are satisfied?

Cheers lads and lassies

Hmmm....I'm surprised nobody has responded to this. I don't know a way to protect yourself. Luckily, 3k Baht is not a lot of money, but I'm sure you'd be unhappy if the item showed up in a condition you weren't expecting. Do you know anybody in Bangkok who could check it out for you beforehand?

My advice would be dont do it ! Like most things in Thailand unless you can touch it , then it doesnt exist, land of smiles and promises.
