March 1, 201214 yr I just saw this video and thought it might be useful to others. I've read on here several cases of accounts being hijacked and identity theft. Strong passwords make a huge difference. http://support.mozil...ure%20Passwords
March 1, 201214 yr My Gmail account was hacked into a few months ago and I immediately changed my password. I spent the next few days thinking up some kind of password "system" and came up with 18 digits. Now all my important passwords are of 18 digits, consisting of capital letters, small letters, signs and numbers and are completely different. I made a few mistakes the first couple of days but soon got the hang of it. It takes time in typing though.

As long as the password doesn't contain a "generally recognized" string, then it's much better..
March 3, 201214 yr You should use 2 step verification as an added layer of security The hacker would need your mobile phone as well as your password https://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=180744&topic=1056283&rd=1
