Wait a second. Thais say negro? coffee1.gif

They do. In Isaan there is a song about "American negros" and it's not uncommon for parents to use "negros" as a baby eating boogyman to keep their children in line.

If you speak Thai and want to have your mind blown, walk around with a black friend and keep your ears open. Some of the stuff you will hear is incredibly insulting, mostly about their "dark" and "ugly skin".

But then if you go to a place like Pattaya, you don't hear the negative comments so much and the bar girls LOVE black males. So it's clearly an issue of where you go, usually the more country the local, the more insulting things you may hear.

Indian tourists or tourists of Indian decent, lots of gold digging bar girls won't go with them because they think they are all poor indians from india. The fact they can afford to travel here, pay 100-150 baht a drink , bar fines and girls fee doesn't seem to click with them.

That's not the reason. Simply, they don't LIKE Indians, Arabs, Africans.

It's not that they don't "like" them; they simply make a call based on the pros and cons of going with a customer from a particular ethnic group.

Indian men are sometimes perceived as being a bit stingy and they sometimes expect 2 or more guys to partake for the one fee.

Black men are perceived as having penises that some girls find er . . . "challenging" to accommodate as well as being rather . . . er vigorous in their craft

White men are seen as likely to get too rat-arsed to lay on any meaningful sexual performance . . . . hence their popularity.

Japs are the faves being smaller, faster, richer . . . the good old 4-4-4 (4 inches, 4 minutes, 4 thousand)

Not sure why they'd have problems with Arabs but maybe someone else can clear that up.
