Extension On Extension For Tourist Visa?

Hi everyone,

How many extensions can you get on 1 entry? I already used the extension of 30 days and I was wondering if I can get another one on this 30 days and how many days it would be if possible.

If I would make a visa run to Penang, do I need to show up or can I give my passport and needed papers/pictures with my boyfriend so he can make the trip alone?

That's your lot,you may get another 7 days at an immigration office with proof of onward travel,but any more you need to leave by land for 15 days or air for 30 days upon return depending on the passport you hold of course .

All you can do with a single entry tourist visa is one 30 day extension . After that you have to leave the kingdom. A visarun by land will only give you 14 days.

It's actually 15 days. You are just counting the days differently then they do.

Since people use agents, probably okay as long as you have exited Thailand.

You can get only one 30 day extension for a Tourist Visa, on top of that you can get a 7 Days extension, but possible the Immigration office wants to see a Flight ticket, that you leaving the country in that week.

A border run to land border would bring you 14/15 Days permission to stay in TH, a border run with an entry at an airport back to TH would give you a 30 day permission of stay.

A trip to a Thai Consular section and a new Tourist visa application requests, that you go out of Thailand, leave the country.

You cannot sit in TH and your BF does that for you. But its possible, that your BF can make the visit to the Thai Consular section alone and you wait in the Hotel.

But you cannot wait inside TH!

Penang is not friendly to give back to back visas into Thailand if the visas have been extended within Thailand.

Go to Kota Bahru or KL.
