Border Immigration And Songkhran: Visa Run

Hi,

Does anyone know if the border immigrations are open as usual during the Songkhran weekend??

I intend to do a visa run to Laos through Chon Mek border immigration, out and in.

My stamp expires April 23rd, want to do it before that time, and preferably during Songkhran weekend

as I will visit my family in that area then.
