Hi there, I'm considering a bar on the beach, in Rayong province. Been told that on the beachfront can't have the chanote (the place is just between the road and the beach, really few meters from the sea). Is this information accurate or just maybe the owner don't have the chanote so is telling BS's?

Are you sure this isnt gov't land?

Will you be leasing, if so from who?

How do you intend to buy the land?

I guess land between the road and the sea belongs to the government.

Some areas put in a beach road and divide the land in 2 chanotes, other areas designate the land between the road and beach as public.

A visit to the local land office will clear that up.
