Here is her reply from that other thread, which I closed:

1. Did you come from Suwannaphum Airport (Bangkok), on Bus # 389 ? If yes, the bus back to Bangkok does not stop on the side of the road. You will need to go to its terminal in Jomtien. The terminal is on the east side of Thappraya Road, just north of the intersection with Theprasit Road. The first bus is at 7:00 a.m., then 8:00 a.m. and every two hrs. thereafter until about 8:00 p.m. Running time to Suwannaphum is 90 minutes, 30 minutes shorter than the trip out from Bangkok, because the bus does not stop to board passengers, and because it enters the Motorway just north of Central Road. The bus terminates right at the airport terminal.

2. The buses that stop on Sukhumwit Road (white with orange and blue stripe) go to Ekamai Terminal in Bangkok. These are "milk runs" that stop to board and discharge passengers at the side of the road, so can be quite slow.

3. There are non-stop, air-con. buses departing from the bus station on the north side of North Road, about 500 metres west of Sukhumwit Road. Service is available to three different terminals in Bkk.; Ekamai, (eastern Bkk.) Morchit (northern Bkk.) and Sai Tai Mai (western Bkk.)

4. There are also several van services available, from various points in Pattaya. These are generally not suitable for tourists with large amounts of luggage, unless you want to pay for two seats.

I know that in front of the PTT gas station on Sukhumvit just North of Pattaya Klang (Central) they have mini vans every 15 minutes that take you right to Victory Monument for 70 baht. Good deal really unless you have to take a piss on the way.
