December 15, 200520 yr Hi everyone,my first posting!!! I've searched through past topics as to the price of a PSP. Can anyone confirm that the current price is still about 8,000 - 9,000 baht for a Sony PSP in stores such as Pantip Plaza and MBK. I'm returning to LOS in January and it seems pontless buying a PSP in the UK as they are still about £170. Thanks.
December 15, 200520 yr I think 9,500 THB, at least that seemed like the going price at several shops in MBK a few weeks ago. I thought that MBK had more shops selling PSP's than did Panthip. On the 6th floor of MBK you'll find quite a few shops.
December 15, 200520 yr What is psp? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think its Playstation Portable or maybe its something to do with p!ssed sensory perception JAF
December 19, 200520 yr Author lomatopo, Thanks for the information. Do u know if the price of 9,500 baht is for the "value pack" with memory card, etc?
December 20, 200520 yr 9,500 will get you the 'value pack' with the crappy strap, crappy case and tiddly (32mb) MS 1Gb memory sticks go for about 4,000 baht. Definitely cheaper than the UK
December 20, 200520 yr Yes, AFAIK it is the "Value Pack". I'm not sure the "Giga Pack" was ever really formally introduced here. The Giga Pack is sold out in the U.S.A., AFAIK. You can usually negotiate a bit if you are buying a PSP and a memory stick, and maybe a few other bits and games. Some shops in MBK have some interesting offers re: games but such things are better not discussed here. I haven't checked prices in the last 2 ~ 3 weeks so they could be up, down or the same? BTW, welcome to TV gareton. Edited December 20, 200520 yr by lomatopo
