Looking For "Man And A Van" In Pattaya

Featured Replies

anyone know of a reliable "man and a van" in pattaya......

have a pal looking to move condos - has 15-20 boxes

thanks

If you look on Sukhumvit Rd., between Makro & Theprasit Rd., you'll find drivers with trucks- available for a fee. The pick-up's should be right for your pal's move; if he talks it over with one of the drivers, I'm sure they'll be able to agree on a mutually acceptable price for the job. It's easy; good luck to him...

I've always charted a baht bus or pickup.

Michaelaway is right,

On the Sukhumvit road you will see the trucks parked up (Northbound Carriageway, even between Pattaya Tai and Pattaya Nua) they will always display a board with their phone number on it, they're hard to miss..

But be warned, when you hire them they won't help with the box lifting, that's not included in the price.

Some of the guys will include their labor along with the transportation; check with them during negotiations. Two years ago, we paid a man 500 baht for several hours work (he had originally asked for 600) and several trips between locations. Great attitude, he & I moved boxes & furniture until the job was done. Very willing & cooperative, I gave him 600 baht and dinner- money well spent...

If you need more hands just ask the driver to contract a couple of Thai mocy-taxi guys, no problem.
