Most will recognise above that Im not sending secret messages rather rioye I took this morning. 449.7kms Im back at condo... with sore bum.

Nice cool start on 118, it sure is getting glassy in some spots hate to ride it in the wet... 1050 heading west in morning is nice looking across rice feilds in early morning light

As an aside and to add a little culture to this forum.. ok agriculture.. I love these plants... sort of a buzz to see a plant move... if you know what i mean.. and no i wasn't smokin it

at top of mountain a stop for my lounge chair retreat....

Its just dead quite with hardly no traffic whatsoever......

anyway i botanically digress... 1050 into Phrao and coffee stop at ye old PTT, this time no horde of young girls rather a dutch guy I overtook on hills wanting me to help him with his directions....

Onwards down 1050.. from Phrao west towards 107 its getting pretty cut up and lots of sans/ gravel on road. Onto 1346... ohh baby i like this road.. in spots in narrows down allot and reminds me of Khao Yai... again just about no traffic.. it must be stunning through here when its all green and lush.. at present very very dry and blackened with lost of sane and gravel blow outs onto road... had a a'hole pucker moment on one of them when came round a corner and back slipped on gravel...

1346 very nice raod overall.. a little spotty in places but no real danger sections and great scenery.

Hit 107 and went into Chai Prakan.. typical one street little town.. stopped off at this coffee shop one RHS as you are heading toward Chaing Rai.. past centre of town about 1km (or 0.6miles for those of you who are metrically impaired)

Iced latte very nice.. spaghetti alfredo should have been called pepper spaghetti.. it was loaded with pepper but nice and all for 95B.

( probably my fault as the lady originally suggested spaghetti seafood..but sort of wary of seafood this far from sea and in smaller towns) However nice little cafe and ultra clean and modern restrooms so if you've got your gf on back and she's fussy about where she places her touche then this is the cafe for you.

South down 107.. now this is a nice fast road, good surface with not much traffic... and left onto 1050 east... 1050 east towards phrao is in much worse shape now than last time I dod it about 4 months ago... lots of sand a gravel on road and white squares have been road marked around serious potholes which hopefully indicates they will fix em.

Back over mountains on 1050 with obligatory stop at my lounge chair and then onto 118. By this time quite s tiff wind was blowing and 118 very hot coming back.

Overall excellent ride.. 449.7 kms to my condo and back... photos prove I WAS THERE.. ha....

just hope the Dutchman makes it to where he wanted to go as consulting the map here at the condo I realise I have given him worng directions.. oops

so far 120 is my new fav... 1252 is on for tommorrow cheers and ride safe.
