Hiv Aids Testing In Pattaya

Featured Replies

I was wondering what are the options in Pattaya for getting an AIDs/HIV test? Does anyone have any recommendations and prices and locations?

There was a similar topic running recently here you may wish to check out:

plenty of clinics have signs up personally one this one i would only go to a hospital that has a lab on site, whilst i would normally avoid Bangkok Pattaya but thats where i would go for that particular test. Might be a few baht hundred more but i would have more confidence than anywhere else. For usual annnual blood test which covers that and others including PSA i use the Si Racha hospitals.

There is a good lab in Naklua next to KTB about one click short of the old market. I pay 300 baht for weekly INR testing as I have DVT in my left calf. For an extra 100 baht you can get a CBC.

I wouldn't bother about PSA. It is no longer recommended in the UK as it is so unreliable and causes more heartache than doing any good. Check it out on Google. BTW my PSA was 13.5-14.0 for years before I stopped taking the test. Taking a biopsy is better and in the UK was a walk in walk out procedure, completely painless and no analgesic let alone anaesthesia. A clown in Bumrungrad wanted me to spend 3 nights in there and said the test was performed under total anaesthetic. I declined and told him of my previous experience. Collapse of stout party - and a red face.
