glen
Hi guys, When I look at my pics in ACDsee viewer the black parts come up bright green. I switch to edit and its ok but then back to view and its still green. If I look at the pics using windows pic view no problem. Suggestions please? koknia
I haven't used ACDSee for 10+ yrs, but maybe you have the shadow/highlights button on. That could result in a green overlay over 100% black areas.

Daffy D
Sounds like it could be the exposure warning:-
koknia
ACDSee shows green over areas of 100% black, according to the instructions. As I mentioned before.
Tywais
From another forum which fixed the member's problem. "Perhaps the 'under exposure warning' option is turned on in the Viewer (see the button with a picture of a flower with a green background on the main toolbar). That could display black as green." And another one: "On the tool bar of the viewer, you will see two icons,a green and a red one, with what looks like a flower on it. Click on the green one and the color green showing under exposure will be removed. The green one shows under exposure, and the red, over exposure" And from ACDSee > here Appears to be used to highlight the exposure problem. Several other forums state the same thing. Kan Win
Hi Glen and Members, The Members, Glen are correct and you have the 'under exposure warning' turned on, hence when you posted the photo that you did it is what it really is, your veiwer is set to show the 'under exposure warning'. BTW what ACDSee version are you using? Changed a little bit of your photo. Looks a great kid. The Colonel, Win from Kan
