Hello,

I made my one year marrige visa in Sakon Nakhon and i have to do my next 90 days report on 22nd of april. However for some reason i have to be in pattaya beetwen 17th of april and middle of may for a month. i have no willing to go to Sakon Nakhon for making this report - 2 days trip there and back etc.

Is it any possibility to make it in pattaya? The re-entry permit i could make it two times no problems.

I stay in a friends room for free, so cannot show any lease contract, or any other prove that i rent something here.

I red, that 90 days report can do in any immigrations of thailand. Can be causing this a problem if i go there to report me.

My visa running out just on 12. of november, so i am allow to stay in the country till that day.

All helpful informations are welcome!

regards

Most offices also allow reporting by mail as long as it arrives prior to due date - but as said you can report up to 15 days early under current policy so not a problem this time.

The notification must be made within 15 days before or 7 days after the period of 90 days expires.

My question was that can i do in pattaya or not?

Songran time. I am not living in sakon nakhon 340 km-s there and back and i will start go down in 15th, so my question is again. if somebody makes a visa in sakon nakhon cannot move in this country somehere for holiday or not?

I have problem with going to sakon nakhon - i know the 7 days earlier deal, but can do in other immigration or not. If can Ok. If not i will do nothing. I am here since 2003 never over stay, but this time i will not go anywhere because there is no time. so the simple question can do in other immmigration or not?

thanks for answers

No.

But you can report by mail.

Notification by registered mail

  1. Copy of all passport pages (up to the latest arrival stamp in the Kingdom or latest visa stamp)
  2. Copy of arrival/departure card TM.6 (front and back)
  3. Previous notifications of staying over 90 days (if any)
  4. Completely filled in and signed notification form TM.47
  5. Envelope with 5 Baht stamp affixed and return address of foreigner for the officer in charge to send back the lower part of form TM. 47 after having received the notification. This part must be kept for reference and for future notifications of staying over 90 days.
  6. The above mentioned documents must be sent by registered mail and the receipt of the registration kept by the foreigner.
Send the mail before the renewal date 7 days to your immigration office

Suberb member - Thank you! That was a very usefull information. This is the way i will do.

Three other questions i got just to be sure.

2. point ) copy of arrival/departure card - i got just departure card, cause the arrival they took away as for every one when i entry the country. On this can see the entry stamp (january 25 - 2012). So copy both sides of it.

and

3. point) Previous notifications of staying over 90 days ( as i picked up my one year visa on 12th of november 2011, they gave me this paper till 16th of february 2012, however i went out from Thailand and i returned on 25th of january 2012. So the date of last report was automaticaly on the airport when i entry the country 25th of January 2012 That is ok too as I know.

Should i copy that old notification also (fortunaly i got it) ? I got a multiple re-entry permit and was told me if I go away sometime i should put away that notification and counting the days from the entry date so do I from january 25th 2012. However i will not go anywhere now till begining of june, that is the why I posted this topic because i should do the 90 report in this case.

The third question is: the return adress can be any adress - i mean the adress where is stay in pattaya alos or just the adress of the home we normally stay in Sakon Nakhon if we are there?

As I understand i have to send the mail on 16th of April (monday) - that is 7 days before 23rd April when my notification is should be done. I hope the songran holiday will not affected this 7 days and this will be OK.

Sorry for this many questions. I never did so before, but this time this is the only way i can report myself.

Pls answer me if you can on these questions too. I am very appratiated for it and that you helping others with perfect knoledge on this matter.

Thank you. Best regards for you!

2. Arrival/departure card - you now have the departure portion so yes that is what needs to be copied.

3. You provide the previous report receipt - they will see the exit/return plus change of card and know when to count from.

You should use your normal address for return mail (as that is what you are saying you are at). I would always mail at least 10 days early to be sure of delivery.

Thank you again. Now is clear everything. I think i will send my report before the songran time around the 9th of april - it is 14 days earlier, should be OK. If i am not at home somebody can get it for sure and give me as i return home.

Can you tell me where i can find the exact mailing adress of the immigration office of sakon nakhon? I was there personally many times, but never send mail to them yet.
