Wheres The Best Place To Buy Blackberry

Featured Replies

Im thinking of buying the cheapest blackberry Bold (around 6000-10,000 baht). i see blackberry bold 9650 as the best and cheap so far... but i don't know where to buy a genuine one in downtown. i don't trust MBK and fortune town really well since i have past history with them... anywhere else i can buy with good service?

thanks in advance

I've never seen a fake Blackberry (that functions as a Blackberry).

That is, I've seen plenty of Blackberry clones (phones that look like a Blackberry but are just regular phones - usually "dual-sim" which is a dead giveaway) but none that function as a Blackberry (e.g. BBM in particular).

If you switch the thing on and go to "Options", "About" and it says it's a Blackberry, running a Blackberry OS, then it probably is a Blackberry.

I've never seen a fake Blackberry that is or even claims to be, running Blackberry OS.

Go to a "real" Blackberry store (a DTAC shop or whatever) to hold a "real" one and learn how to check things like its' OS - then you shouldn't have any trouble spotting fakes when you go to look for a discounted one...

Like I said - the fakes tend to only very superficially LOOK like Blackberries - functionally, dual-sim, the quality of the display, and the operating system are usually an immediate clue that you're looking at a knock-off.
