Stay in your apartment/room/house windows and doors closed and locked,. Head phones on and 60 back to back episodes of Dr. Who. We all deal with stress in our own ways. Oh yeah, a fridge full of beer.

I haven't even begun to watch MAD MEN Season One yet!

Honestly, BKK is a good suggestion. Just don't go to KhaoSan/Banglampu....in fact, if you search, you can find out what the bangkok police have decided. They have marked off areas for SongKhran celebration. If you stay outside of those areas, should be fine. And, like other posters said, it will be relatively quiet, as tons of people have gone to the countryside.

If you're really talking about staying completely dry, I'm afraid you either have to stay in your home except from x at night to x in the morning, depending on your location for me that's 10pm - 10am.

Or leave the country - Phnom Penh's a nice change for a few days. . .

Yes, and you can't stock up on women beforehand like you can with booze and packaged food.

Who says? Lots of players have a weekly rate. I just make sure to let them invite their friends over and put the Thai TV in another room. . .
