Who was that little guy who missed the pen for barca?

Yeah his value must have halved. I hope he signs for Tottenham in the summer! laugh.png

And who was that little guy who missed a penalty for Chelsea? Same answer but maybe Tottenham dont want Mata. He certainly hasnt lived up to expectations but I suspect thats because he is playing in a side that is far too direct for his midfield intricacies - play on the break and run like shit off a hot shovel downfield.

hasn't lived up to expectations? He actually been their best player for most of the season.

We would also have Mata at the drop of a hat but can't pay his wages

Looking at the stats, it is nothing less than highway robbery.

Of course, Chelsea supporters will look at it as brave defending, which paid off.

lol

When you are playing Bayern Munich at home, you don't have a lot of choice but defend and try to hit them on the counter attack. The same goes for playing at the Nou Camp. Can you name me any other Premier League team that would have played any different? If they had, they would have got run over.

This is way off the mark. For a start Chelsea went there without their captain and Ivanovic and Ramires, two very influential players who would have started. They were also playing at Bayern's home stadium.

They took their chances and Bayern didn't. If a team keeps ruining one chance after another then they should expect to be punished and they were. They only have themselves to blame.

Drogba's headed goal from the corner was also one of the best you will ever see.

Chelsea could have lined up their U18 team, still it doesn't hide the facts.

You were as lucky as we were in 1999.

The facts are that Bayern had all the chances they needed, balls the lot up and therefore didn't deserve to win. Get real, even their coach agrees with me

Their coach just want to be gracious.

Anyone who saw that match MUST AGREE that Chelsea was nothing less than lucky to get away with the cup.

I don't think there is any question about that, since you contributed with 5 of the last 12 posts (not including this) on this subject.

Anyhow, I will leave you with the last words if you like.
