koh samet - about 3 hours on the bus and ferry from bkk..... proper bo beach i tell thee

I like Bang Saray, just south of Jomtien. Samet is better, but getting over developed. Unfortunately, the beaches close to Bangkok are not the best.

South of Hua Hin there are some nice beaches, Ban Kruit, Bang Saphan, etc.
