br12stol Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 I have a love for Thai food, and have just had a wonderful meal one of the best in a long while Restaurant has Thai name no English, English translation on Menu Meal Tom Yum Pla (fish) Dish of chilies for Thai taste Chicken and Cashew nut Fried vegetables Two large servings of Boiled rice Large bottle water with bucket of Ice Cost 350bht for two people Positives Large portions we could not finish all of it Loads of fish in Tom Yum Never seen so many Cashew nuts in chicken dish and they are expensive now Fried veg was not over cooked still crisp Place full of Thais always a good sign if your after good Thai food Negatives Strange Katoy waitress not very friendly location Slightly of the beaten track, but only 200m from soi 17 (Land and house) south Pattaya From Jomtien or Sukhomvit If you turn into Soi 8 or 10 from Theprasit Road pass Caddy shack Pub on your right, then bear left on bend just before Red Lion Pub From 3rd RoadTurn into soi 17 continue until Red Lion Pub is on your left then turn right on bend 20 metres past Pub Continue up soi restaurant on right hand side 200m from turning. About the same price for what the OP ordered, and they also serve fish, about 6 different ways @ 250- 350 baht/fish- delicious and really nice people!
