Criminals seeking help from the government due to being unable to carry out their crimes...humour.

You conveniently ignore the fact that the government is supporting enforcement measures. No favourtism is being shown.

Not what you wanted to see was it?

You seem to be confused - my post merely stated what the reds was doing, seeking help from the government to 'not be harassed' when they are carrying out their crimes.

How this will end is still yet to be decided.

TAWP, remember some here don't do irony well.

You have a maid to do your ironing. I do not.

Lost in this silly thread is that these people claiming to be Redshirts probably have little association with the group and are much like the punks and touts of Patong that try and make out that they are "connected" to Mr. Big. These guys are petty criminals and have bothered everyone, including bonafide redshirts. I doubt the organization's members have any sympathy for such scum. You folks often accuse me of being a redshirt supporter. Well, chew on this: I think these guys should be rounded up and given an ultimatum: Never show their faces at the garage again or rot in jail.

Nice rant about "fake reds", but what's "lost in this thread" is in the OP of the original thread, which reflects their backing from the highest level of Red Shirt leadership.

"Today Pheu Thai is the government but why are the red shirts still getting arrested? Have they already forgotten the red shirts? We hope Pheu Thai will watch over us but if the government continues to work like this, we have to rethink the Pheu Thai Party," said Wipoj Apornrat, one of the red-shirt leaders.

To add more fuel to the irony fire, Wipoj Apornrat is also a Pheu Thai Party-list MP.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? The oT is enforcing the applicable rules. The complainants are not above the law in this matter are they? So why go off on a tangent?

Oh, that's right, you can't bring yourself to acknowledge that the government is supporting the rule of law here.

AoT may well try and instill the rules but they are not a law enforcement agency. The red mafia return on a daily basis. The situation needs Government sponsored security intervention.

We are positively quaking in our boots I tell you.

I suggest you pick up one of the Thai language newspapers and read the articles. Redshirt sympathizers are saying these guys do not represent them and that they need to be removed. You may recall the news show a couple weeks ago that profiled the problem.

The redshirt organization is a coalition of various interest groups. Some are social activists, some are thugs, some are people loyal to Thaksin, some detest Thaksin, some are right wing nationalists and others are left wing or social democrats. I suggest you learn more about the Redshirts. One of the reasons why many in PTP neither like nor trust them is because they are a mashing together of diverse political views and cannot be controlled. One "leader" disagrees with another "leader". There is no monolithic Redshirt entity. That is why they are so unpredictable.

If Johnny cut and paste provides fodder to satiate your desire to point a finger so be it. However, I know that there are a sizeable number of Redshirts that don't want Thaksin to have any role in a government as he is perceived as a corrupt capitalist. You might be shocked to hear what some of them say.

Transport Minister Jarupong Ruangsuwan insisted that ". . . even though the red shirts are involved, they have to face justice because no one is above the law . . ."

That comment says everything about the mindset of these people.

He also insisted that even though the red shirts are involved, they have to face justice because no one is above the law.

Try and convince the red thugs of that.

Or put all yellow shirts in jail for occupying the airport...... you seem to forget just how this all started...

Yellows didn't charge to park.

Doesn't the Transport Minister know that these Red Shirts, are according to geriatrickid, fake?

Why are the upper crust of the Red Shirt leadership supporting this parking lot folly?

What's Yaowaret Shinawatra's current role in this long-standing slush fund?

Where are these links that say Red Shirts are proclaiming that Red Shirt Leader Wipoj doesn't represent them?

Where are these links that say Red Shirts are insisting that Pheu Thai MP Wipoj be removed?

So many questions, so much room to try and spin it away from the Red Shirts.

You conveniently ignore the fact that the government is supporting enforcement measures. No favoritism is being shown.

Not what you wanted to see was it?

They are not supporting the mafia and they are also not doing anything about the mafia's actions. Yup, you are correct GK, no favoritism here, just blindness to anything that may rock their boat.

No favoritism being shown? Just how did they get this millions of baht concession?

So where does one start to quote examples of the opposite to what you claim. Naah, the list is too long.

So now they have served their purpose label them as a mismatch, thugs etc etc. Not surprised.

G;kid you claim t be so knowledgeable about this, please name:

- Some redshirts who are credible social activists who have made valuable and insightful comment

- Some redshirts who are, in your eyes, thugs

- Some redshirts who are well know to detest thaksin, etc etc etc

You try to demand other posters provide facts etc., here's your change to lead the way.
