Where Is The Best Value Quality Clothing?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm familiar with Bangkok malls (MBK, Tesco Lotus, Paragon) and have bought clothes there before. What I'm looking for now is clothes that they would sell with the same quality as Mountain Equipment Coop -- a Canadian chain noted for good workmanship. Sure you pay a little bit more, but the clothes last and look good. I've heard that there is a North Face store about, but are prices astronomical? For example, I would consider a pair of good quality shorts to be somewhere between 800-1000 baht if they are in fact good quality. A shirt to be the same price. And jeans to be anywhere between 1000-2000 baht. I'll be stopping by in Bangkok and I need to get new stuff that's actually worth the money you pay for it.

Is there a middle ground between MBK crap and North Face?

Thanks!

TT

The export shop and ones like it have good clothes at good prices.

Personally I like Camel clothing. Shorts are about 1500, shirts 1000, but they have regular sales or buy 1 get the second half price kind of thing.

When in doubt, online shopping is your friend as it applies to specific options of quality and variety.

H&M if you can wait november

I've got a couple of camel shirts I bought almost 20 years ago - while worn they are essentially as good as the day I bought them, very good quality cotton and very well made.

In comparison the stuff they are selling now is cr@p.

What about Fly Now smile.png

Personally I don't like it. Can't find anything I like and don't think the prices are that competitive.

I usually wait for the sale season in Central Department stores, they have the stuff I like and for good price.

I googled export store Bangkok but couldn't find anything. Could you give me an approximate location? I'll be around Siam Paragon.

EDIT: Ahhhh but "export shop" is different. Sorry, never mind.
