Old / Antique Clocks

I am interested in finding some old or antique clocks. This is a new hobby I would like to get into. I am not looking to buy expensive or valuable clocks as I am just starting out. At the moment I don't have any but I was in a restaurant the other day and it was full of these old cuckoo clocks and chiming clocks and I loved it. If you have an old clock even if not working I would love to have it but as I say only cheap please I can't afford much. I don't want modified clocks just old and original from anywhere in the world.

If you can help me to get started on this hobby I would be most grateful.

EBay is a great place to look. Even if you don’t buy, it will give you a good idea of cost, so you’re better informed when you do buy. I personally like and collect the antique maritime/military clocks, but they can get rather expensive if in good working order. But, every now and then, I find a real gem at a bargain price.
