Does any one know of a good, safe, kids-oriented indoor climbing wall, here in Chiang Mai?

My little monkey daughter misses her climbing.

We have found the one inside the moat a bit advance for youngsters.

Thanks,

Guy.

You have a young child that prefers physical activity over watching television and playing video games? You're a lucky man.

I don't know if child safe climbing walls are available in Chiang Mai, perhaps you should start a topic asking for recommendations on playgrounds or areas with good climbing trees.

Dear ALL

I have just finished setting up a small boulder wall in my house in Kata Beach, Phuket - Thailand.

If any of you work in Phuket and like me can climb outdoors only during weekends, you are welcome to join me after working hours!

You can find ore info by clicking the link below

Thanks, Vayatona, for the offer but I gave up on Phuket some years back--but much appreciate the offer--your font is sooo small, though, that I almost had to get a second pair of glasses on to read it.

As to Dave2--thanks for the photos--can't say I have noticed the place but I have been past it many times--jeez, I must pay more attention. It actually looks pretty cool, and, with a rope system and pulley would surely be child friendly?? I guess they might start swinging into the steel supports, though?

Edit-sorry, my eyesight again, I don't think that the steel would be a problem but securing the rope/pulley, etc, might be tricky.

a bit late but now there is the indoor climbing gym in chiang mai

go for climbnogravity at facebook

No Gravity Indoor Climbing Gym has just been built and opened and it has different climbs for all levels and the last time I was there lots of my students were there Grade 1 and above. How to find it... from the moat take the corner with the road that leads down to JJ market and Tesco. Take that road and go past all the second hand shops and car garages and then you will see the tall red building on a side road to the right, before you get to JJ. Atsadathon Road, Chiang Mai, TH.
