Requirements For Thai Passport

my wife's passport is expiring. I had a look online and it said that marriage certificate and house registration are required. Just wondering if they will ask for originals or just copies as the originals are a few hundred kilometers away....

Don't know for sure, we've always brought originals, but give it a go, if you get there early it's pretty quick and the paper pusher might be in a good mood, or you can offer to buy him a Starbucks'.

They should have all those documents already scanned on their computer.

Generally a copy of the original is fine, so long as you also sign it with 'Sam-nao tuuk tdong', meaning, true and original copy.

You can sign it yourself.
