District Officials arrest a further 60 suspected drug users in North Pattaya

PATTAYA:--For a third day in a row, Banglamung District officials were on the streets of Pattaya rounding-up drug users and others who are suspected of illegal activities.

Orders from the Provincial Governor to conduct these checks are still in place and on Friday a checkpoint was set up in Soi Potisan in North Pattaya, another area of high crime. Civil defence volunteers assisted the government officials who conducted random searches and drug tests and a further 60 individuals failed urine tests. This time no on was caught in possession of drugs.
