Mandarin Language Training?

I would like to take a beginner's Mandarin class on weekends in Pattaya, but I'm having trouble finding options. So far, I see only ProLanguage is offering private classes, and I'd like to have other places to review before choosing. I need a native Chinese teacher who speaks English, so this leaves out some of the schools that are only offering Chinese for native Thai speakers.

Can anyone offer advice or perhaps a recommendation from experience?

Thanks in advance!

I have asked my school and they offered private classes with a Chinese national teacher. They don't offer classes due to no demand.

As being a teacher myself, I met the teacher and asked him about his teaching programme and found that he has no idea about teaching at all. Moreover, he only speaks Mandarin and a very feeble Thai, no English.

So, no luck so far. If you find a decent one, please PM me as I would like to join.

Meanwhile, you may prepare yourself with ChinesePod lessons. They are in a form of podcast. There are six levels, and the Newbie level contains about 250 lessons (12 mins ea).

Thanks for the input so far. Excel Language doesn't show Mandarin on their webpage, but I've sent a message to them anyway to check and see what's available. If I find anything, I'll post here.
