digitalchromakey
What holiday is May 28th? The last Monday in May (28th) is a Bank Holiday in the UK (Spring Bank Holiday) - so the Thai Embassy will be closed for sure and also probably the UK Thai Consulates. U.K. bank holiday.....o.k. that explains it. Also be aware that Vesak Day on 4 June is a Buddhist holiday in Thailand and listed as a Thai public holiday....expect the Thai Embassy and consulates to be closed that day also. endure
The only Thai EMBASSY in the UK is in London. All the rest are Consulates.
NanLaew
The only Thai EMBASSY in the UK is in London. All the rest are Consulates. Don't just leave it like that. Tell all these punters what the difference is between the Consulates and the Embassy....apart from the fact they are ALL closed on Thai and ENGLISH holidays despite the fact that some government wonk decided to swap the ENGLISH holidays around this year for ol' Liz. Tell all these punters what the difference is between the Consulates and the Embassy.... The Consulates are scattered around the UK - the Embassy is in London. The Embassy has a Consular section which is open for ridiculously short hours and is best avoided if you have any Consular business to conduct.
