Drugs, handgun and assault rifle seized during raid of East Pattaya house

PATTAYA:--A raid of a house in the Eastern outskirts of Pattaya uncovered a machine gun, handgun, 4g of Crystal Methamphetamine and 200 Yabba Tablets which were concealed inside a toy.

Armed with a search warrant, Police Colonel Somnook, the Banglamung Police Chief conducted a raid of a two bedroom house in the Porntep Village 5 in Nong Pla Lai and inside were three men, Khun Anusak aged 30, Khun Gearsadar aged 26 and a boy aged 17 who we cannot name for legal reasons.

Police found a 9mm semi-automatic handgun with bullets along with an M16 Assault Rifle also with bullets. The drugs were found inside a toy hidden underneath a bed in one of the bedrooms. All three men claim the weapons did not belong to them but were being kept at the house as a favour for a friend.
